 A live bat trapped in the bedroom of a near West Side Joliet apartment tested positive for rabies recently and five people at the residence have been advised to begin post-exposure rabies treatment.

The first annual Michael A Cardilli and Karen Cardilli Henry memorial ride and benefit will be held Saturday, August 21, 2010 from noon to 8 pm. The motorcycle ride and car caravan travels through the streets of Joliet, Illinois making stops at several locations throughout the area. The event begins at Conrad’s Harley Davidson and ends at Leo’s Bar and Grill.
